About Course
The World of Computing course is an introductory computer science course that introduces the basics of programming with Karel the Dog and allows students to explore what a computer is and how technology has affected their lives. Students have the option to code in either blocks or text. This class provides students with high-quality instruction, including all required digital learning materials, class activities, platform access, and instructional services for the duration of the course. The total cost is $89 per semester covering all items listed with no additional fees. The course is delivered asynchronously and is designed for grades 9-12. Classes run from the date of purchase and end when you finalize the materials in the course.
