About Course
This course is designed for young learners in Kindergarten through 5th grade who are ready to learn more about how soccer is played! Building on what students learned in the introduction course, they will explore the basic rules of soccer, understand how games are organized, and learn what makes play fair, fun, and safe. Through hands-on activities, age-appropriate lessons, and engaging visuals, students will develop a stronger understanding of the game.
Students will learn how goals are scored, what common rules and violations are (such as fouls and out-of-bounds), how games begin and end, and why rules are important in sports. They will also explore the role of referees in keeping the game fair and safe, and how following rules supports teamwork and good sportsmanship. Each lesson encourages observation, decision-making, and respectful play, helping students think like responsible athletes and teammates.
By the end of this course, students will have a clearer understanding of soccer rules, improved their ability to follow directions, and developed skills such as fair play, cooperation, and problem-solving—preparing them to enjoy soccer both on and off the field.
