About Course
This course is designed for young learners in Kindergarten through 5th grade who are ready to learn more about how baseball is played! Building on what you learned in the introduction course, students will explore the basic rules of baseball, understand how games are organized, and learn what makes play fair, fun, and safe. Through hands-on activities, age-appropriate lessons, and engaging visuals, students will develop a stronger understanding of the game.
Students will learn how runs are scored, what common rules and violations are, how games begin and end, and why rules are important in sports. They will also explore the roles of umpires in keeping the game fair and how following rules supports teamwork and good sportsmanship. Each lesson encourages observation, decision-making, and respectful play, helping students think like responsible athletes and teammates.
By the end of this course, students will have a clearer understanding of basketball rules, improved their ability to follow directions, and developed skills such as fair play, cooperation, and problem-solving—preparing them to enjoy basketball both on and off the court.
Get ready to learn the rules, play fair, and have fun on the basketball court!
