This high school Introduction to Sociology course delves into the study of social organization, highlighting the structures, institutions, and societal influences that shape communities. Students will explore the development of social norms, culture, belief systems, and social stratification. The course places particular emphasis on investigating the presence and persistence of social problems within society. Through jouranling opportunities and critical analysis, high school students will gain insights into the dynamics that define and impact communities, fostering a foundational understanding of sociological concepts and their real-world applications. This class provides students with high-quality instruction, including all required digital learning materials, class activities, platform access, and instructional services for the duration of the course. The total cost is $210 per semester covering all items listed with no additional fees. The course is delivered asynchronously and is designed for students in High School.
