About Course
An introductory course that familiarizes students with the foundational elements of coding through the hugely popular and engaging Scratch coding platform. From learning loops, events, and dialogues to mastering movement control and debugging, students will apply these skills in a project showcase, laying a robust foundation for their future in coding. Grades 6 – 12. This class provides students with high-quality instruction, including all required digital learning materials, class activities, platform access, and instructional services for the duration of the course. The total cost is $210 per semester covering all items listed with no additional fees. The course is delivered asynchronously and is designed for students in grades 6-12. Classes run from the date of purchase and end when you finalize the materials in the course. This is a Teacher-Supported course which includes access to a teacher who will grade assignments, give feedback, answer questions and provide any other assistance the students may want or need.
