About Course
Grade 3 history is broadly divided into three parts: a robust survey of World Geography, World History, and American History. The Grade 3 Geography unit constitutes students’ first truly comprehensive investigation of geographic information and methods and provides a crucial foundation for the learning that will take place in the remainder of Grade 3 history and beyond. The main focus of the World History sequence in Grade 3 is Ancient Rome. The American History sequence begins at the beginning, with Native Americans, before progressing through the Age of Exploration and the Thirteen Colonies.
This rigorous 3rd Grade curriculum is designed to be both comprehensive and flexible. Each subject is delivered through instructional videos and self-paced, asynchronous assignments, allowing students to progress at a pace that suits their individual learning style. Parents or guardians will assist scholars in completing assignments sequentially, ensuring mastery of each concept before moving forward. The course offers flexibility for families while maintaining high educational standards, promoting both independent learning and guided support where needed.
